How to test/debug Learning Locker integration? | Opigno LMS | Learning Management System based on Drupal

We have successfully installed Learning Locker LRS on another server and followed the instructions from Opigno manual to connect to it. There is however no data appearing in Learning Locker. We also can not get LRS statistics to show up in Opigno (as shown in the screenshot in manual). what is the sure way of testing if any xAPI data is generated / sent to the Learning Locker? how to test the connection? does anybody offer services for testing / debugging this?

Hi mmikko,

Maybe you should clear the cache of your Opigno platform, the statistics related to the LRS should appear in "Statistics" menu item of Opigno.

Regarding the way to check if xAPI statements are sent, the most simple is to check in Learning Locker in the "Statements" interface, that lists the statements received. If there is nothing you should check the logs in your Opigo platform.

Check also that cURL extension for PHP is correctly installed on your server.

Thank you for your advice. Clearing caches did indeed bring the LRS options to the statistics page in Opigno, but unfortunately there are still no statements in LRS (Learning Locker). cURL version is 7.19.7 and I tested via php that it is working. There is no domain assigned yet in the server where Learning Locker is installed, so we are using ip-address/data/xAPI/ instead, but I don't think that can affect anything? - What is an example of an event that certainly should show as statement, are for example all h5p events such automatically? - What events should we check from the logs? - Do you have opigno version installed that we could try - our aim here is to decide which LRS to use and we are starting the evaluation from Learning Locker. And you can send me an email about possibility to help in evaluation (as paid service).

Hi mmikko,

Clicking on a course, or on a lesson should send a statement to the LRS. Same if you answer a quiz, get a score to a quiz, or finish a course.

There is no log on Opigno, since xAPI logs could be very heavy and could slow down the system in case of large number of users.

The only way to check is to have a look at your Learning Locker platform.
