Time Tracking

Opigno Currently tracks spend time on a course and a teacher can check this at the end of the course. How and what is tracked is inactivity tracked ? or is it based on login and logout ? Is there any documentation on how the tracking is done currently ? Is it possible to show the time spend in the fronted of the user? If possible would like a detailed time tracking when has a user started with a course when did he stop what was his inactivity time like in a report or something. Is it possible to create a timed quiz (question set) that must be completed within a certain time ? If this is not currently possible is it planned?

Hi,

Hi,

Tracking is pretty basic: it's tracked by module, Opigno considers the difference between the time when you started the module and when you finished it.

Then the time spent for the training is the sum of time spent for all modules.

We don't track inactivity,  an additional feature should be implemented for that, in order to check if the user is clicking and to stop the timer after a given inactive time without any click.

For the moment we do not have in our roadmap to develop a question type with a timer, but it's something that's perfectly possible to add to Opigno.

Hi Hans,

Hi Hans,

Thanks for offering to help for translations, that would be great.

Translations are centralized in localize.drupal.org

You can go there and see all the Opigno projects, for example:

https://localize.drupal.org/translate/languages/nl/translate?page=16&project=opigno_learning_path

You can either directly enter your translations, or, what I advise, is to export (clicking on export tab) a po file, then translate this file using POEdit, and then import it into localize.drupal.org (import tab). This way you can also keep a local copy of translation file, to import on your Opigno instance, waiting for the translations to be validated and available on localize.drupal.org

Note: to be able to import / export and submit translations in Dutch on localize.drupal.org, you need to join the related group (if you are not already a member). To do that, go to the Overview screen for your language (https://localize.drupal.org/translate/languages/nl) and click on the big green Join button in the right sidebar.
