So, I wanted to change the date heading of the calendar portlet from always being {current month} 01 {Current year}

But it looks like date_views/theme/theme.inc already has the newer code.
Went to (YOUR_WEBSITE)/admin/config/regional/date-time/date-views and saved ... so now the date heading is ONLY the month. E.g. "June". We need the year there too.
Where do we configure this? Where is the configuration for that calendar portlet?
Cache was cleared, but problem persists.
Where exactly is the title format specified at admin/structure/views/view/calendar/edit?
