Hi Opigno I have disabled private messaging and chat under the 'Apps' menu. However users when signed up still have the option of sending and receiving private messages, according to the Edit field of their account settings, under 'Private messages'. How can this be disabled? Thanks in advance Taimur

Hi Taimur,

If you go to People -> Permissions (in the black admin menu at top of the screen) you will find a "Private messages" group of settings that will help you configure private messaging as you want.
