Hi Davenuel,

Hi Davenuel,

There are 2 different apps available. The Opigno video app, and the Opigno external video app. With the Opigno video app you can upload your own files and even convert/compress the files if you want (ffmepeg).  The external video app allows you to add external videos.

Both modules add a button in the wysiwyg that allow you to easily insert the videos. For videos uploaded to the platform ( using the Opigno video app ), you can enable the video tool in the course settings. This will allow you to create a library for the course. Once you uploaded the video it will be available to add from the wysiwyg interface.

Quizzes/lesson contain one or more questions/slides. If you want to add a video to a quiz/lesson you can simply go to the manage questions interface for a specific quiz/lesson and add a slide. In the slide you can easily add the videos in the wysiwyg.

Additionally, you have the option to create interactive videos with the h5p library. EX: https://h5p.org/interactive-video

H5P Video

Hello, I am having a similar problem. I am unable to add a video link using the H5P content (content type = Course Presentation). When I embed my Vimeo link, I get a "Found no video players that supports the given video format". How do I fix this? We can upload videos just fine, but would rather embed them using links. Thanks!

Thank you

Thanks James Aparicio ! I will open a new forum question regarding japanese language translation I hope you can help me also.

If you have that message it is because your link is not in the correct format.  Please check that your link. For vimeo https://vimeo.com/xxxxxxxx.

RE: Vimeo link not working

Hi James, thanks for the response. I have been inputting the correct link, but I still get that error message. I also have our privacy settings to allow the video to be embedded on our Opigno QA site, so I'm still not sure why it's not working. The video link is https://vimeo.com/203454478. Do you have any other ideas? We have many videos we'd like to add to the H5P Course Presentation type. Thanks!

Hi spennel,

Hi spennel,

H5P Libraries is something different, as you can see from the description, it supports youtube links as well as external video sources. If you have vimeo pro, you should be able to get the direct link to the video file.

Video on where you can get the direct link -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJF7lBdlMKs
