Views Integration for Course Sort Module

Hey everybody! This is my first post here, but I think I'll be participating quite a bit in the future. I'm hoping to use Opigno as a foundation for a platform my company is developing. I hope I can contribute back to the distribution code and help make it better! Anyway, I'm creating my own view for course progression, and I'd like to be able to include Course ordering within a Class as a sort option. Unfortunately, your module doesn't currently provide any real Views integration. There's a views_query_alter, but it's just a hard-coded thing for your custom views. I think it would be a million times more helpful to actually add Course Order as a sortable table column in Views. I'm currently working on adding this implementation and would be happy to upload a patch or otherwise contribute my code, but I wanted to post to find out the procedure or if there's already something in the works to accomplish this. Thanks! Bobo

Hi Bobo,

Hi Bobo,

Welcome to this forum!

It's possible to sort courses inside a class, this feature was added as of the version 1.13

axel,

axel, Thanks for such a quick response! I do know that you can sort courses inside a class. The issue is that I can't use that sort in my custom views, so some things are showing up out of order. I'm looking into ways to integrate the opigno_sort_groups module more completely with Views right now. It sounds like that isn't currently in the works, so I'll be happy to share what I get.

Hi Bobo,

Hi Bobo,

Thanks for this precision. Sorry, I read your message too fast.

Don't hesitate to share your developments with us, if we can include them into Opigno to improve it we will of course be glad to do it.

Best regards,
