Scorm Package Max length 2 and Max Score 50

Hi there, While creating a lesson with Randomized Questions, and selecting Scrom package as a question in Manage Question, It shows default Max score as 50. Also I can not assign more than 99 as max score value. Is there any reason why we cannot have more than 2 digits max score. Is there any implication of changing this value from core files?
