I am implementing a new corporate Opigno site (for the first time). We have uploaded some videos that show up in the Video Gallery of a Course. I have also embedded external videos in Lesson Slides. What I would like to do is use an already uploaded internal video from my first Course (remember it's in the Video Gallery, not in a lesson)in a different(2nd) Course by embedding it in a Slide in the 2nd Course. We are up to date on the install. However, our site admin has had difficulties installing FFmpeg / avconv. Perhaps that is part of the issue. So, restating: How can I use a single, uploaded video, embedded in more than one slide, perhaps even in separate Courses, without uploading two instances of it?

Hi mstomasik,

Can you send us your instance id via the contact form, with this information so we can take a look at your specific instance to see if there is any issue?

If you already added the video to the instance, if you go in the wysiwyg you should have an button to embed the videos that are already in the platform.

thanks for the reply. Multiple videos were uploaded to a Course called Basic Product Knowledge by a previous administrator. They were not placed into this class's lessons so can only be viewed by clicking on the video tab while in the lesson then finding the appropriate video and playing it. I have created a new Course as an example, called Exam Lights. I wish to create a slide, then insert one of those videos into the slide. I see there are two choices. The first one is called Opigno Video. When I click it, it asks me to make a size decision (xxxp X xxxp). I do that, but then there is no screen with videos to choose from. I went back to the vidoes in the first lesson thinking that I needed to associated them to my new lesson. I added my new lesson saved and back to the second lesson. No difference in behavior. The second one is a icon called Video Filter. I clicked on that and saw that is for embedding videos that are outside of Opgino. I found the url for one of the videos and inserted it anyway and got a blank screen when I viewed the lesson. Not sure exactly what you mean by "Instance ID" This install in running on a leased virtual server. Regards, M
