Another great feature would be also able to make a new class from a combination of classes and courses rather than just courses.

Thanks for your feedback.
Why do you think it would be more interesting to have classes composed of "sub-classes" and courses, rather than having only courses inside classes? Is it for user management or to simplify class creation ?
The reason would be for better class management and bundle pricing. The allows you to quickly bundle a group of classes to make a super class. Also the ability to pay for a class would be good rather than just at the course level (may I need to configure commerce. I haven't looked at it yet but I noticed the price field was already there for courses).
I haven't thought about the user management but I would assume that a user can be assigned to a class and that in turn would automatically add them to the relevant sub class.
Hi,
You can already add a price for a class, it's just a matter of configuration inside the Opigno commerce app.
Adding a user to a class will add it to every courses inside the class.
That's good. Then the main reason for having a class of classes would be for better organisation and bundling.
eg.
course1 - addition
course2 - subtraction
course3 - division
course4 - multiplication
course5 - angles
course6 - integration
couse7 - differentiation
course8 - area
course9 - angles
course10 - simultaneous eqautions
course11 - quadratic equations
class 1 - Basic maths (contains course1, 2,3 and 4)
class2 - Calculus (contains courses 5,6 and 7)
class3 - Geometry (contains course8 and 9)
class4 - Algebra (contains course10 and 11)
class5 - Maths syllabus (class1, 2,3 and 4)
Hi
Thanks for these precisions, I see what you mean.
What would be possible with Opigno without additional functionality would be to groupe all the classes inside a category.
To take the terminology of your example, you could create a category "Math syllabus" you could attribute to classes 1, 2, 3 and 4. Then in the course catalogue these 4 classes would be grouped inside the category.
You also have the possibility to structure different lessons inside a course, for example a course "Basic maths" with lessons addition, substraction, and division.
So the available levels are:
- lesson
- course
- class
- category
For sure if you need an additional level, then creating a class of class would be necessary.
Ok thanks. I still think it would be helpful to have class if classes or class categories as the course categories still will on list all of the courses in the category rather than a list of all the classes.
Another addition thought would be to allow video and audio as options to add to the lesson as well as a slide which is already there.
I am truly loving this product. The power that it can deliver out of the box already is absolutely fantastic.
Thanks.
We take note of your idea.
Concerning video, it's possible to add them inside slides, maybe it's not very intuitive and we should work on that to improve it.
Thanks for your feedback.
