All students access to lessons as they progress through the course

I could be hoping here but is it possible for students to only see certain lessons in a course and as they progress additional ones appear? or students only see lessons if they are in a specific group. The scenario is we have some courses with multiple lessons which are class based but we only would like the students to see the require lessons as they attend each class and not all the lessons in the course.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello

Hello

I'm not sure to entirely understand your use case.

With Drupal 7 version of Opigno users automatically have access to all the lessons inside the courses they are member of.

With Drupal 8 version of Opigno you can have much more possibilities to customize the learning paths. For example:

- you can define pre-requisite lessons

- you can define conditional rules, changing the lessons that a user has access inside a training, according to his results at previous steps.

Thanks Axel. We are using v7

Thanks Axel. We are using v7, maybe we should look at moving to v8.

Just to confirm use case. We

Just to confirm use case. We have a course with 12 lessons and the course is spread over 4 days (in a classroom). The trainer would like the students to only see the required lessons as they progress through the course (eg. release 3 additional lessons each day to the students), I wasn't sure if we could do this with groups? I guess we could do this with dates, but going forward the course will be used in multiple places with multiple classes. Maybe v8 is the way to go?

So it's a kind of

So it's a kind of prerequisite that you want to introduce for lessons. You don't want that users can start the next lessons until they have done one particular one.

This will be possible out of the box with D8 version of Opigno.

With D7 version it would require to extend the features since it's not out of the box. But it wouldn't be a big work, so if you are already using D7 version and don't want to move right now to D8, this could be a way.

Thanks Axel. It would be

Thanks Axel. It would be easier to stay on D7 for now. How much work is it to extend the features? is there some guidelines on how to do this?
